The thank you card for my customers this month features the new Thinking Thanks & Peace stamp set.  This versatile stamp set is terrific for #simplestamping cards.  I added Black Baker's Twine because I love it!  but you could add a strip of cardstock as well to keep it simple, or layer it up with more ribbon or DSP strips etc.

The little hidden gem on this card is the brush stroke border, created using the Textures & Frames free stamp set.  It's free during Sale a-bration (SAB) on now til September 30, 2021 with a $60 purchase. 

I love black with bright colours, but you could use any colour combo you wish!  I wanted to create a card without flowers and I realize every card does not need a bow - I know - gasp - right!

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Basic Black card base (5 1/2 x 8 1/4 folded in half landscape orientation)

Assembly & Trix:

*  Use the 3 brush stroke stamp and stamp an alternating pattern on the 2 inch strip of CS using two ink colours of your choice.  ***Trix I used an ink pad and carefully inked the outside two edges using the centre brush stroke as a visual guide to help me align the stamp. 

*  Cut this stamped 2 inch strip in half lengthwise and keep one strip for another card.  

*  Stamp the "sending thanks" sentiment at the bottom of the larger Basic white layer using the colour of your choice.

*  Adhere the striped strip to the sentiment strip using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Wrap Black Baker's Twine around the card and add a bow if desired. 

*  Adhere to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals. 

*  Embellish with Matte Black Dots

Joyful Life & Whimsical Trees stamp sets for Card Swap

I've had the good fortune of participating in a Card Swap using products from the new Mini Catalogue.  What's a card swap you ask?  It's like a cookie exchange but with cards.  A group of demonstrators from Canada have come together to create cards to share with each other.  I'll be sharing their cards on my Stampin'Trix Facebook Business Page in the future.  

My card features the Joyful life and Whimsical Trees stamp sets with the fabulous Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)  This paper has shimmer throughout it, it's simple gorgeous!  

I absolutely love the little hedgehog, she seems so excited to share her little gift of apples, I thought it was pure joy, so that's why I opted for the sentiment from the Whimsical Trees stamp set.  There are so so many new beautiful products in the Mini Catalogue, I hope I've inspired to add something new to your Christmas card creations.

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White card base (41/4 x 11 folded in have portrait orientation)

Assembly & Trix;

*  Stamp the holly pattern on the Basic White CS layer stamping off once for a lighter image.

*  Blend Blushing Bride ink onto the card layer where you'd like the snowflakes to float.

*  Stamp the hedgehog using Black Memento ink and the 'Joy' sentiment using Polished Pink on Basic White CS.  ***Trix,  Align the images together using the Stamparatus™  before stamping to ensure the circle die will fit around it. 

*  Colour the hedgehog with blends.  

*  Die cut the hedgehog using a scalloped circle from the die collection. 

*  Adhere the strips of DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue) staggering them just a bit off set for interest.  ***Trix, to create dimension with the snowflakes adhere the first snowflake with glue and ensure that it tucks just under the strips of DSP.

*  Adhere the ribbon to the back of the scalloped circle with Stampin' Seal, then attach the image to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

*  Adhere the 2nd snowflake to the card.  ***Trix, double up the dimensionals so the snowflake looks like its floating down onto the card

Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP

Today's card is for my 'Christmas Card A Week' series of blog posts.  It features the fabulous Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper, (DSP).  I love this paper, it has so much glimmer and shimmer!  And I  love non-traditional Christmas colours :)

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White card base (5 1/2 x 8 1/4 folded in half)

3 3/4 x 4 1/2 Evening Evergreen cardstock (CS) layer

3 1/2 x 4 1/4 Soft Succulent CS layer

Assembly & Trix:

*  Adhere the cardstock layers  together and top with the DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Adhere the cardstock and DSP layer to the card base using Stampin Dimensionals.

*  Stamp the sentiment using Mint Macaron ink on the scrap piece of Basic White CS and die cut using the smallest Taylor Made Tags Die.

*  Tie a bow using the Silver Trim and adhere to the tag.  ***Trix, I place a glue dot on the backside of the tag in the hole.  When I press the silver bow to the tag it sticks :)

*  Adhere the tag to the card with dimensionals and embellish with Rhinestones.

That's it! Gorgeous and done!  Enjoy!  Thank you Mary for the inspiration!
