Ready To Ride DSP & Something Fancy Bundle for #hssic406 & #gdp378

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card is inspired by the Sketch Challenge over @ Global Design Project and the Inspiration Challenge over @ Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge.  Please click on the hyperlinks or the images below to visit the blogs and enjoy the inspiration.

***  The Trix  ***

*  Keep the colour palette simple - the #hssic406 picture inspired the black, white & red  focus of my card - I love that sweet little kitty in the pic, 'she' reminds me of my childhood cat named Cleo :)  Anyway,.... the card base is Basic Black, with a 1" strip of wrenches from the Ready To Ride Specialty DSP, #160752.  The Basic White Tag is from the Something Fancy Dies, #160425 and the Cherry Cobbler hearts are from the Country Bouquet Punch, #160382.

*  Balance the scale of the patterns - the wrenches on the strip of dsp are large, but the pattern created by the Metal Plate 3DEmbossing Folder, #160766 are smaller, they work together.  I think the rule of thumb when mixing patterns is to vary the size of the pattern.

*  The extras - tie the tag on the card with Black Bakers Twine, #155475 *Trix* the tag isn't really tied on, it's held in place with dimensionals, but I did tie the twine around the Basic Black, DPS, and embossed layer layer, then through the tag and tied a bow, before gluing it to the card base.  Embellish with hearts - no extra gems are needed - just like the sentiment says 'Nothing Fancy Just Love'
