Quiet Meadow for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program May Blog Hop

Hello and thanks so much for visiting!

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

This very simple card is created using the Quiet Meadow stamp set.  It can be easily replicated for future classes, and I wanted to show how simple it is to create dimension with colour using Blending Brushes and Blender Pens.

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White Cardstock (CS) ( 4 1/4 x 11 folded in half)

4 x 5 1/4 Fresh Freesia CS layer

3 15/16 x 5 3/16 Basic White CS layer **the 16ths of an inch are just smidge smaller than the Fresh Freesia layer

Assembly & Trix:

*  Using Blending Brushes softly build the colour on the Basic White CS layer to create colour dimensional with Fresh Freesia ink where the top of the flower stamp will be.

*  Stamp the flower image using Fresh Freesia ink.  ***Trix, move the colour in the centre of the flower slightly using a Blender Pen, pick up more colour from the ink pad to enhance the colour, taking care not to breakdown the paper fibers with too much blending.

*   Stamp the sentiment using Fresh Freesia ink, I used the thank you from Dragonfly Garden.   ***Trix, change the sentiment by choosing which words you want as a sentiment.  I only wanted "thanks" and "you".  Use a post it note or piece of non stick tape to cover the words you do not want, ink the stamp, peel of the tape and stamp onto the CS layer.  Repeat the process to add the "you" under it.

*  Adhere the stamped layer to the Fresh Freesia layer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

*  Adhere the CS layer to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals

Enjoy & have a super day!
