Painted Chistmas DSP for #tgifc390

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card is inspired by the fabulous sketch challenge @tgifc this week.   Please click the hyperlink to visit their blog and enjoy the inspiration!

Today's card is also the third of three simple Christmas cards using the Painted Christmas DSP.  Each card uses a piece of DSP with either a circle or square shape with the sentiment.  If you like creating multiple, quick & simple Christmas cards like I do then please enjoy the previous two posts *here  & *here  :)

Assembly & Trix

*  Emboss a 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 piece of Basic White cardstock with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder, #158804 and adhere to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Evening Evergreen card base.

*  Adhere a 3 1/8 x 3 3/8 piece of Painted Christmas DSP, #156292 to a 3 1/4 x 3 7/16 piece of Real Red cardstock.  ***Trix, the measurement of the Real Red cardstock may seem a bit odd, but that's b/c the dsp is not centered on the cardstock, instead, leave a border of Real Red around 3 sides only, a subtle change that adds a bit of interest :)

*  Stamp the sentiment from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set, # 159542 and die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies, #159183, an awesome little set that creates circles, squares & banners of different sizes.  ***Click here to shop this die set as a 'Bundle' with the Mini Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine, #160881

*  Adhere Real Red 3/8 Sheer Ribbon, #153535 - currently on the Clearance Rack for $3.80, woohoo! - to the back of the circle before adhering the circle with dimensionals.  Embellish with Pearl Basic Jewels, #144219
