Still Night for Two Challenges

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card is inspired by two challenges, the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #187 over at the Retro Rubber Challenge and the Festive Friday Challenge #FF0114 .  Here's the scoop - I chose bird, embossing and green on the Tic Tac Toe board & owl, woodland, texture and brown from the Inspo list.  Please click the hyperlinks to visit the blog posts and enjoy the inspiration!

Assembly & Trix:

*  The owl comes from the retired stamp set called Still Life, from a few years back.  She's stamped with Saddle Brown StazOn®  #151508 on Shimmery White cardstock, #101910 then watercoloured with Soft Suede ink.  The sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso.

*  The branches are from the retired Night Owl Thinlits Dies using the current Kraft Paper, #156325 and watercoloured with Soft Suede ink.  The die plus the two tone green watercoloured embossed layer helps to build texture.  It's hard to capture in a photo, I've added Wink Of Stella to the background too for a little sparkle.

*  Emboss the woodland scene using the new Wintry 3D Embossing Folder, #155433.  ***Trix, cover the Shimmery White cardstock with a wash of water then add Pear Pizzazz ink, allow to dry a bit and add a highlight of Garden Green ink.

*  The card base is the fabulous new Kraft Notecards & Envelopes, #159247.
