Nature's Beauty & Easter Friends for #HSSIC383

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #383.  This is such a beautifully versatile sketch, I love using a tag as the focal point for the image and sentiment.  The fabulous *free Designer Series Paper is great for spring cards, and only available until Feb 28th.

Please click on either my card or the #HSSIC383 image to visit their blog post for this challenge and enjoy the inspiration!

Assembly & Trix:

*  There's really no Trix with this card, what you see is what you get.  The Polished Pink layer is a smidge bigger than the Daffodil Afternoon DSP which measures 4 x 4 1/4, then adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, (glue) to a Basic Black standard card base.

*  The *** Trix with the label is to cut two Tailor Made Tags, #155563, the same size, and adhere together with glue slightly off to one side, similar to the border on the sides of the DSP .  The tags are Polished Pink and Very Vanilla cardstock.

*  The bunny from Nature's Beauty, #150528 and the sentiment from Easter Friends, #157737 are stamped with Memento Black Ink.

*  The last *** Trix is to cut the Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon, #155714 lengthwise, before trying in a bow, to create a thinner Pink ribbon, again similar to the border around the dsp and tag.

*  The Very Vanilla Classic Matte Dots, 158146 add a subtle bling to the tag.

  4. A great take on our sketch - I love that daffodil paper - Daffodil is our national flower here in Wales and as tomorrow is St David's Day, our patron saint, we will all be wearing daffodils! Thanks for sharing with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments
