Friendly Hello Stamp Set & Designer Series Paper

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card uses two free products from the Sale a-bration Brochure.  Sale a-bration (SAB) started yesterday with the release of the New January to June Mini Catalogue.  SAB is the opportunity to earn free stamps and paper from Jan 4th to Feb 28th.  

The Friendly Hello stamp set and matching Designer Series Paper (DSP) is so fun to work with.  This simple card was created with the stamp set and Stampin' Blends Markers.  Watercolour pencils and Blender Pens would work beautifully too!

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White card base (5 1/2 x 8 folded in half portrait orientation)

(2x) 3 3/4 x 5 Basic white Cardstock (CS) *the second is for the bird and sentiment

Memento Black Ink

Stampin' Blends Markers: Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral; Balmy Blue; Highland Heather; Petal Pink; Granny Apple Green

Assembly & Trix

The Trix to add interest on this simple card is to stamp the flowers on the card layer and repeat on the card base to add a bit of dimension.

*  Stamp the flowers using Memento Black Ink on the card layer.  ***Trix, line up the card layer with the card base, carefully slip out the top layer and stamp on the card base.  I find it helpful to use Grid Paper to align the layer and card base. 

*  Colour the flowers with the Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral markers. 

*  Stamp the bird image with Memento Black Ink and fussy cut out.  Then colour with markers.

*  Adhere the bird to the card layer using Stampin' Dimensionals, (dimensionals)

*  Stamp the sentiment image and cut it apart, then adhere to the bird with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue) and one dimensional where it hangs off the edge of the the bird image. 

*  Adhere the card layer to the card base with dimensionals.

*  Embellish with Matte Black Dots.
