awww, thanks with the Otters 2.0

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Have you ever created a card and then thought, no wait, what if I add ___ instead of _____?  Well that's what happened to me Tuesday.  Monday Jan 10th was the Blog Hop for the Demonstrator Training Program I'm part of, compliments of Bruno & Kylie Bertucci.

Each watercoloured image looked slightly different after it dried.  The Pool Party seemed to be the predominant colour.  So today I created a couple of cards with the extra images - and Pool Party was calling to me instead of Misty Moonlight for the backgrounds.

Pool Party card base & layer embossed with Bark Embossing Folder

Both images were  watercoloured with Misty Moonlight and Pool Party on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  I love the way colour blends on this paper providing different colour intensity.  I think that's one of the reasons I love watercolouring, I never know what I'm going to get until the paper dries :)

Assembly & Trix:

The layout is the same 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base.  The middle layer is 4 x 4 1/4 & the watercolour layer is 3 1/2 x 4 1/2.  ***Trix, the watercoloured layer is distressed using old scissors and crumpled to softened the fibers of the paper.
