Scrappy Strip Card with Lights Aglow DSP

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

It's time to use up the leftover strips of Designer Series Paper.  This card was created for a card class and uses some of the beautiful papers from the July to December Mini Catalogue.  Unfortunately these papers have since sold out, however this card can be easily recreated with whatever Designer Series Papers you have left over.  It's a terrific way to use up your scraps!

*  Choose papers that coordinate together, add in some glimmer and choose a card base colour that's in the DSP, I used Cherry Cobbler.  This card uses paper from the Lights Aglow Suite, and here's hoping Stampin' Up!® will bring back these faves next year.

*  I like to use an odd number of strips, repeating the patterns with different colours will add to the coordination.  Each strip is 5 1/4" but the widths vary 3/4" , 1" , 1 1/8" .

*  Add a focal point, in this card it is the framed sentiment using the Brightest Glow Stamp Set, #159542, a sentiment only set that's perfect for all your Christmas Cards and is still available!

***  Click here to shop and please remember to use the monthly Host Code when your shopping cart is between $60 - $135 to receive a little thank you gift from me.  *The current Host Code is posted in the sidebar of my blog.

At the end of each catalogue Stampin' Up!® provides 2 lists to demonstrators called the Last Chance Products List & the Carry Over List.  The Last Chance List means just that, the products will retire forever, the Carry Over List includes products that will show up in a future catalogue.  Just another perk of being a demonstrator, it's so helpful to plan my purchases!

Enjoy & have a super day!
