Today's card is inspired by Jen B's sketch #563 over @ Freshly Made Sketches, I missed entering this challenge but I think it's an awesome sketch, totally worth keeping in your arsenal of quick and simple versatile sketches! Here's my take on Jen's sketch :)
*** The Trix ***
* Emboss a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder, #156392 and attach it to a piece of Real Red cardstock a smidge bigger, (a 1/16th of an inch)
* Wrap a piece of 'retired' Real Red Ribbon, ( b/c its Christmas card making time and that's what I have :) and tie a 'vertical bow' - yes that's a term I created - just twist the ribbon so the bow is vertical on the card and ***Trix, adhere it with a glue dot or 2 :)
* Stamp the sentiment from the Framed & Festive Stamp Set, #160888 and die cut with a Stylish Shapes circle die, #159183. Adhere it with dimensionals *around the ribbon.
