Be Merry Dasher for the Retro #rrcb186

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card is inspired by the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog Sketch Challenge #186.  I used the retired Wood Mount stamp sets called  'Dasher' & 'Warm Words' .  The Wintery 3D Embossing Folder and Gold Embellishments are current.

Please click on either my card or the #rrcb186 image to visit the blog challenge.

Assembly & Trix:

***Trix, play with texture instead of colours.  The 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock embossed with the Wintery 3D Embossing Folder, #155433 & the scalloped circle from the Layering circle Dies #151770 coordinate together with the swirls on 'Dasher's antlers.

***Trix, only use two colours and repeat them.  Gold Stampin' Emboss™ Powder, #155555, Gold & Vanilla Satin-Edged Ribbon, #159555 & Festive Pearls, #159963

  2. Ah ha! Gorgeous combo, Lesley - I still have both these sets myself, lol - I loved all these little scripty sets that we could punch out with our oval punches! This is a gorgeous white-on-white take on our sketch, and the beautiful deer is even more elegant in gold! Thanks so much for playing at Retro Rubber!

  4. So elegant and pretty! Funny, I was just thinking about Mr Dasher the other day....and that I should get him out, dust him off and get him inky, and here he is! Great way to add the embossed panel...and of course I love that little sentiment too! So happy you played with our sketch this week at Retro Rubber!
