Hello, and thx so much for visiting today!
Anne Marie from the Paper Players has a super sketch for us to try. I love a good sketch challenge, it totally helps me to push myself to try new things. Please click on my card or the Paper Players image to go directly to their blog and soak in the inspiration, and yes, give it a try, challenge yourself and create something beautiful!
And here's the card details:
4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Pretty Peacock card base (4 1/4 x 11 folded in half)
4 1/8 x 5 3/8 Fine Art Floral designers series paper (dsp)
2 1/2 x 3 piece of coordinating dsp cut into two 1 1/4 inch pieces
3/4 inch x 2 3/4 Basic White strip for sentiment
Assembly:
* Vertically centre and attach the two 1 1/4 inch pieces of coordinating dsp to the Fine Art Floral dsp 1/4 of an inch from the right edge and separate them by 1/8 inch for a bit of dimension. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue so that I could smoosh them into place.
* Stamp a flower from the Art Gallery stamp set with Pool Party ink, cut out with the Floral Gallery Dies and attach with dimensionals.
*** The 'Trix' for this card - I like to attach the gold trim to the back of the dsp with Stampin' Seal, then wind it around the stem of the flower a couple of times, before winding around the entire piece of dsp. I just wrap 'til I get the desired look. And this changes depending on the trim you choose. I used the gold from the Forever Greenery Combo Pack.
* Stamp a sentiment of choice with Pretty Peacock ink. I used Positive Thoughts because I love the message and because of the length of the image. Adhere with dimensionals.
* Adhere the dsp to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and add some bling! I choose to colour Rhinestones with Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends Markers.
Enjoy and have a super day!
